چکیده

The goal of this study was to examine how improve the vegetative growth, nutritional status, productivity, and fruit quality Washington navel orange trees by examining effect foliar application ZnSO4 (0, 300, 600 mg/L) solutions in combination with CuSO4 200, 400 on trees, which were 11 years old grown clay loam soil a surface irrigation system. results showed that all investigated measurements responded specifically each factor. elicited stronger more effective response than CuSO4. Nonetheless, varied only slightly or moderately from one measurement next. In terms interaction between concentrations, factor directly reflected its combinations, (600 (200 being most for majority under consideration. When highest level combined CuSO4, values various growth parameters shoot length diameter, number leaves per shoot, leaf area, total assimilation area obtained. As result, status (the chlorophyll mineral contents) significantly coupled treatment mg/L Moreover, combinations concentration (400 exhibited greatest statistical fruiting aspects as well quality. Consequently, it can be recommended using spray monthly basis during period March July could safely similar environmental conditions horticulture practices adopted present experiment.

Relationship between Chlorophyll Content and Canopy Reflectance in Washington Navel Orange Trees (citrus Sinensis (l.) Osbeck)

Understanding the spectral features of Washington navel trees is important to remotely measure and monitor the canopy properties and biochemical changes in plantations. Satellite and ground based passive remote sensing techniques have been widely used in many plant species. However, the use of these techniques in orange trees is limited. In this study, relationships between total chlorophyll (C...

Transcriptome analysis of a spontaneous mutant in sweet orange [Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck] during fruit development

Bud mutations often arise in citrus. The selection of mutants is one of the most important breeding channels in citrus. However, the molecular basis of bud mutation has rarely been studied. To identify differentially expressed genes in a spontaneous sweet orange [C. sinensis (L.) Osbeck] bud mutation which causes lycopene accumulation, low citric acid, and high sucrose in fruit, suppression sub...

Rare Earth Element Transfer from Soil to Navel Orange Pulp (Citrus sinensis Osbeck cv. Newhall) and the Effects on Internal Fruit Quality

The effects of soil rare earth element (REE) on navel orange quality and safety in rare earth ore areas have gained great attention. This study investigated the transfer characteristics of REE from soil to navel orange pulp (Citrus sinensis Osbeck cv. Newhall) and examined the effects of soil REE on internal fruit quality in Xinfeng County, Jiangxi province, China. Path analysis showed that soi...

Levels of Free and Conjugated Abscisic Acid in Developing Floral Organs of the Navel Orange (Citrus sinensis IL.J Osbeck

The levels of abscisic acid (ABA) and alkaline-hydrolyzable ABAconjugate (putatively identified as the glucosyl ester, abscisyl-,8-D-glucopyranoside) were determined by enzyme immunoassay in the organs of developing navel orange (Citrus sinensis [L.] Osbeck cv Washington) flowers. Although both compounds were detected in every tissue, developmentally related differences between organs in the to...
